WTH. For months, I couldn't log in to Maple. The reason? The patcher didn't work and I'm a little sick of it. Then I found out StarHub modem had blocked it for a few days. I don't know why. Maybe they hate Maplestory. Then yesterday I had a few trials and errors downloading patchers and redownloading the whole thing. But it couldn't work. Curses. Damn.
Today, the Installshield wizard finally worked. Until I reached the menu page. I found out I totally forgotten my password. I was "WTH".
So I went to the Asiasoft thingy. Then I remembered I changed my password and Security PIN the other time. I remembered my password but not my PIN. I wanted to reset it but they said must go to the Asiasoft counter at Suntec City to reset it. WTH. And you must pay $5!!! I tried my birthdate. It FAILED. So I had no choice but to go code-breaking. Geek's way, seriously. Fortunately I had a personal combination to my PIN codes, so it wouldn't take THAT LONG to break the code unless the account was hacked. 6 number PIN code. Okay, I took 3 hours to do it. But there was a limited number of tries each time so the PIN would be de-activated and I had to go to my email to find the activation code. Sometimes I would forget my last trial and redo that number.(I was using a photoshop software to do a comic while waiting for that email.)I was afraid they would suspect something especially when my inbox was spammed with those emails. They would wonder why I keep retrying to get my PIN. Was I a hacker? 17 emails in my inbox. 4 trials each time. WOW. You know what? My PIN was my birthyear.(As I said there was a special combination to it so you won't know how to get in, also you don't know my account name...)
I went to reset my password. The service was down. WHAT A FOOL. SHIT YOU ASIASOFT.
