Teacher's Day was absolutely F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S! Except for my terrible fever and flu and the hot weather. It's not that serious, because I have 99% recovered from it today. My 'fever' is totally gone.
The Mass Walk for Aces day was very humorous. But that's not the main point. Our 'normal lesson' turned out to be free period. Mr Peter Tan, our English teacher came late. Not only that, the moment he stepped in, he told us that 'these two periods, you all do whatever you want' which was immediately understood, because many people instantly screamed off their heads. So high pitched. That's what they want.
And the most interesting thing is they started poking and touching Mr Tan's big belly and his balding head. LOL. And he didn't complain. If he did, I would support my classmates by telling them there's always the excuse, supported by Mr Tan himself, 'it's what we want to do' and he let us do whatever we want. But before we thought of buying food, Mr Tan told us we couldn't eat. Meanwhile, alot of photos were taken of him and his belly.
The performance was simply awesome! I loved how the band played the 'Thriller' and got one of the band members to do the Michael Jackson dance. It's like I suddenly became a Michael Jackson fan after he passed away. And An Qi had to remind me a thousand times, that the band member who was Moonwalking was so HANDSOME. OMG. Did she just say that? LOL.
The band also played the song we learnt in primary school. I forgot the title, but it goes ' Some day I wish upon a star...', you know. Some other songs too. But I forgot.
And I love the dance performed by either the Dance Society or Drama. Not sure but probably Dance. The dance was called 'Change'. It was full of energy. I felt like being part of it. So much for sound effect. They danced to 'Zig Zag' by Miley Cyrus but actually I thought it was quite funny because the song was giving them instructions how to dance. If you would take time to google the lyrics. And danced to a song meant for ballroom dances. At least I thought so. I forgot the title, again but it goes like 'When I was little, I asked my mother, what would I be?'. OH! Que Sera, sera! I remember now. Yay.
Also, there was a singing performance by 2 students. They sang a Chinese song and 'If I Let You Go' by West Life. The West Life song was my favourite (LOOK AT THE 'WAS') so I knew the lyrics word for word. I even have the disc. But when they sang, the first student kept going off tune and forgetting the lyrics. As they sang the West Life song, I was enjoying myself thoroughly and singing when suddenly the guy sang like he was drunk. Zi Ru Tao Zui for Chinese saying. I think so. I couldn't help but laugh.
Although I prepared no gift for the teachers and the paper I bought was wasted (not even the 6 Amethyst card was signed), it was a great Teacher's Day celebration.Cue for my ruined uniform with McDonald's curry sauce stain. Heck, I'm no CHILD. Stop chiding me!
