I don't get it.
I mean, I just argued with someone over the word 'eh'.
Obviously, there's nothing wrong with the word. It's ridiculous if you can get angry with it.
It's like when Rihanna sings 'under my umbrella ella ella EH EH EH...' or when Lady Gaga tells you 'STOP TELEPHONING ME EH EH EH', you get angry and start wrecking and smashing the source of the sound, be it the computer, radio, music player, iPhone, iPad, iPod, or human.
Actually the last option sounds justified, if it happens that the human is singing badly.
But that is not the point.
The point is the tone you use when you use 'eh'.
You don't see me killing everyone who says 'eh'.
However, some people are really rude. I just asked someone something, and she went 'EH, IS SO-AND-SO ASK ONE HOR.'
Maybe I'm being oversensitive, but I really just asked a question, why did she have to be so rude?
It's so ill-mannered. Are you some sort of gangster? And then she tells me she had never known saying 'eh' is rude. Wow. Are you really dumb? You can't tell you sounded rude?
And you push the blame on the word 'EH'.
My god. I feel so sorry for the word. It has become one of the most misused word. Misused in the way you say it. It was meant to be harmless, but you twist it and disfigure it in such a way, it pisses someone off.
It might even start a world war one day.
Be right back, killing and starting wars over the word 'eh'.(◑‿◐)
