Thanks for telling me about your love life on Facebook! I was really interested to know all about it!
Really.
I find it very annoying when someone complains or just has this HUGE need to report on his status in romance.
There's this guy who keeps doing that. And recently he even put this post which said
This is my Facebook. I post what I want. Don't like it? Unfriend me.Sure I don't like it, but if I did unfriend you, you would find out about it. And you'd think I'm rude. It's like breaking some unspoken social law.
Plus I think doing such stupid 'passionate and romantic' things are very immature and inconsiderate.
A total embarrassment to yourself.
Why?
Let's see.
One, you don't even seem to take into account the friends you've added on Facebook.
You have classmates, friends, your crush, relatives, besties, some random unknown people and even teachers. Do you think it's necessary to announce your love to them all?
Don't you think it's embarrassing? You're even making things awkward for people who don't really know you well. It's like exposing your inner side to others even though they have barely scraped the surface of your outer personality. It's overwhelming and unpleasant. Woah there why are you telling me this? kind of feeling.
Sometimes, I feel like going up to these people and tell them, 'Hi there, I know how you're like, your personality, who you like, even though I haven't really interacted with you personally.'
In physical terms, to bombard others with your inner feelings even if they don't know you well, it's like flashing yourself nude. Sexual harrassment. Or maybe even rape.
Imagine you post a status that you finally confessed your feelings to your crush, then the next day, your teacher (whom you don't really talk to) suddenly asks how it's going. And the whole school appears to know about your relationship. Socially uncomfortable on maximum alert.
Next, I'm sorry to inform you, that your Facebook is not your 'personal blog'. As far as I'm concerned, it's a social platform for you to interact with friends. So posting such statuses and information are meant for sharing. Are you sure you want to share everything about your personal life?
Also, I don't really know why you're posting this.
Sure, I understand wanting to record your life, but that's not Facebook is for. Is this to attract the attention of your friends? Sure it's attracting a lot of attention, even unwanted and unnecessary attention.
It actually disgusts some people, because you're feeding them things to judge you with. It makes you appear hungry and greedy for love, attention and affection.
Surely it's not what you're seeking.
Of course, you can say things like 'I don't care what others think'.
I don't like that phrase actually.
You SHOULD ACTUALLY CARE at least a little, because if you don't,
1) you're just trying to outcast yourself,
2) you're being rude and you don't even give a hoot
3) you are becoming a menace to society and they're going to take you to the head hospital to conduct experiments on your brain.
Okay that's exaggerated, but whatever. I'm not in the right mind currently.
Trolololo.
So listen to me.If you need to vent and stuff, create a blog, don't post it on Facebook. Not on Twitter either.Okay.
And for now, I shall slowly dissolve and fade away into nothingnesssss....
